하루의 성경은 계정이 없고, 광고와 분석 도구가 없으며, 쓰신 필사 · 손글씨 · 녹음을 저희가 받아 가지 않아요. 모든 기록은 사용하시는 폰 안에만 있어요.
폰 안에만 두는 것
- 필사 기록 (어느 절을 언제 어떤 방법으로 채웠는지), 손글씨 획, 책갈피 · 형광펜, 읽기 계획, 설정
- 소리 내어 읽은 녹음 (앱 안에서 언제든 지울 수 있어요)
- 적어 주신 이름 (화면과 카드에 부르는 이름으로만 써요)
- 내보내기 메일의 받는 사람 주소 (다음에 다시 쓰려고 기억해 두는 것)

이 정보는 저희 서버로 보내지 않아요. 앱을 지우면 함께 지워져요.
마이크
‘낭독’에서 소리 내어 읽은 말씀이 맞는지 알아듣기 위해 마이크를 써요. 알아듣기는 폰에 들어 있는 음성 인식 기능(예: Google 음성 인식)이 맡고, 가능한 한 폰 안에서 처리하도록 요청해요. 폰의 설정에 따라 그 음성 인식 서비스가 자체 정책에 따라 소리를 처리할 수 있어요. 녹음 파일은 폰 안에만 저장돼요.
인터넷을 쓰는 때
- 낭독 음원 받기: 미리 만든 낭독 목소리를 장마다 받아 와요 (Cloudflare를 통해). 이때 일반적인 웹 요청처럼 접속 주소(IP) 등이 전송 과정에서 기록될 수 있지만, 저희는 이를 개인을 알아보는 데 쓰지 않아요.
- 월 구독 · 평생권 결제: Google Play 결제를 써요. 결제 정보는 Google이 처리하고 저희는 받지 않아요. 구독은 Google Play에서 언제든 해지할 수 있어요.
사용자가 직접 하는 것
- 내보내기: PDF · 오디오 · 카드를 ‘이 폰에 저장’, ‘메일로 보내기’, ‘다른 앱으로 보내기’ 하시면, 고르신 앱(메일 · 메신저 등)이 그 파일을 보내요.
- 기록 보관: 오늘성경에는 서버도 로그인도 없어요. 기록 파일(필사 기록 · 발자취 · 노트 · 손글씨 · 내 목소리 녹음 · 설정)은 사용자가 고른 곳(휴대폰, 내 Google 드라이브, 메신저 · 메일)에만 저장돼요. 저희가 볼 수 없는 사용자 본인의 저장소예요. 구매 정보는 파일에 담지 않고 Google Play 가 확인해요. 폰의 Google 백업이 켜져 있으면 안드로이드가 기록(녹음 제외)을 Google 계정 백업에 함께 저장해요.
- 의견 보내기: 메일 앱으로 저희에게 의견을 보내실 때, 고르시면 오류 기록을 함께 보내요.
어린이
이 앱은 만 13세 미만 어린이를 대상으로 하지 않으며, 어린이의 정보를 따로 모으지 않아요.
성경 본문과 그림
개역한글(1961), World English Bible(공개 도메인), KJV(1611) 본문과 귀스타브 도레(1866)의 판화를 씁니다. 낭독 음원은 Supertonic 3 (Supertone, OpenRAIL-M)로 만들었어요.

In short
Bible by Hand has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. We never receive what you copy, write by hand or record. Everything stays on your phone.
Kept only on your phone
- Your copying record (which verse, when and how), handwriting strokes, bookmarks, highlights, reading plan and settings
- Recordings of your reading aloud (you can delete them in the app at any time)
- The name you enter (used only to greet you and on cards)
- The email address you last sent an export to (remembered for next time)
- A short error record if the app closes unexpectedly (device model, app version and error lines only)
None of this is sent to our servers. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
Microphone
When you read aloud, the app uses the microphone to follow along. Recognition is done by your phone's speech recognition service (for example Google speech recognition), and the app asks it to work on the device where possible. Depending on your phone's settings, that service may process audio under its own policy. Recordings are stored only on your phone.
When the internet is used
- Narration audio: prepared narration is downloaded chapter by chapter (via Cloudflare). As with any web request, your IP address may be logged in transit; we do not use it to identify you.
- Monthly subscription and Lifetime purchase: handled by Google Play. We do not receive your payment details. You can cancel a subscription in Google Play at any time.
Things you choose to do
- Exports: when you save, email or share a PDF, audio file or card, the app you pick sends it.
- Backups: Today Bible has no server or sign-in. Record files (your writing, footprints, notes, handwriting, voice recordings and settings) are saved only where you choose: your phone, your Google Drive, or a messenger or mail app. We can't see them. Purchases are never stored in the file; Google Play confirms them. If Google backup is on for your phone, Android also keeps your records (not recordings) in your Google account backup.
- Feedback: when you email us feedback, you can choose to include the error record.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
